Default To any and all remaining GW Players

It's become impossible to get certain areas mapped in Factions because of the age of the game and the lack of new players. Finding enough people to get into Fort Aspenwood is like winning the lottery. Getting a player who's doing "Mayhem in the Market" is also just as hard. The worst part is that Anet has left GW in it's current state and has done nothing to address these issues for players even knowing well ahead that these problems were inevitable.

So I'm asking any players that are interested in creating a player list to help each other out with this kind of stuff. Not only that but we can get together to help each other with missions like Eternal Grove and do vanquishes and any other thing that needs to be done. If you're interested, post here and we can see how many of us are willing to help out.

Um yeah, that's what the entire PUGs and Grouping forum is for.

Um yeah, have you looked at those threads recently? Checked the dates on them? How about the services offered or seeking services? With the dwindling population of the game and most players using heros, cooperation is at an all time low... if at all. It's precisely the point why I posted in Riverside so more players who still frequent this site could see it.

I left numerous of primary quests open that allows me to taxi/ferry people:
Time is Nigh, Chaos in Kryta, Sunspears in Elona, Mayhem in the Market, Closer to the Stars, and many more.
I sometimes use this to help people get their Level 7 Obby Twinks
If anyone need help then PM me and we can work something out.

I could definately use help with Mayhem in the Market. This is the kind of stuff I'm talking about. The other threads are dead and most people look at Riverside for any new info. Because of the low numbers I don't see how this could hurt to post here.

PM me and I'll run you for tips. I got most of the quest steps prepped so it will be fairly quick run from Marketplace.

The problem is NCSoft not caring about the game anymore. Already discussed it briefly in another topic but they should make PvP as well as large parts of PvE free to play or another creative idea instead of letting the game rot. GW is unique, they shouldn't let it die like this.

Yeah unfortunately, I have to agree with you about the care this game is currently given. And the free sections is definately a cool idea. Would keep portions of the game populated.

I really REALLY want to go back to the game (I sold my ACC to a friend of mine that kept playing until 2010 dunno what happened to him) but the lack of people playing makes me avoid doing that since i'm just going to "suffer" trying to search people to do everything all over again (speedruns, all challenge and tittles, etc). I stopped playing because i was studying for bars exam. But damn, how i miss this game. Unbelievable that ArenaNet is such as prick about supporting the game. Like a said if they had launched expansions the game would normally "live" as time goes by.

There is a whole neglected market and no Business Intelligence in the gaming industry to see that.

There was a time when it was easy to find people for things like Mayhem in the Marketplace and Fort Aspenwood. And it lasted a very long time. Now it's been a while since it was like that. As great as it would be to bring things back to being active, we can't expect people to go out of their way to do this if it's gonna be a burden on their time. Things simply move on.

We also discussed creating two alliances (one luxon one kurzic) so that we can consolidate the player base.... and move everyone over to embark beach instead of spamadan.... but unless we get someone organized and who is willing to put the work in, it aint going to happen.

Bringing things back to "active" isn't realisticly going to happen. This group of people would be just a way to fill temporary gaps where the game fails to fill the rolls with heros. If at anytime someone would need me to log in to help out, I'd be more then happy to.

I agree on the mapping challenges, but there's no longer any missions you can't solo. I've done everything in the game so far except the Underworld, solo, including VQing Cantha and Elona. I still might be able to do the underworld with cons and a different build, I just haven't really tried yet.

I know I haven't been in Kamadan when anyone's asked to try to go queue Fort Aspenwood for mapping, I know I would have helped.

I do agree the game is struggling, there are a few things that could help. I also like the idea of consolidating all the guilds into one alliance on each side, but the PvE side of the game is definitely not unplayable just yet.

I'm not guilded, but I guess I would imagine if you joined one of the few active guilds, you could probably convince some people to come help you. It doesn't take that many people to get those queues to pop.

I'm interested in doing Gate of Madness with a group of other players. Also interested in doing Eternal Grove anytime after the next time it becomes available again (in mid to late February) for Zaishen Mission quest.

Update: I completed Gate of Madness easily using 7 heroes given the documented AI bug with respect to the bonus [A]http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Gate_of_madness[/A] -- If anyone else has difficulty interpreting what is documented at that link, then I can help interpret.

Update: Eternal Grove will next show up Zaishen Mission on 2/18, so I'll be looking to do it that day. My IGN is His Divineshadows. What time would work for other people interested in doing it with me?
